Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Wayfind is a product of Career Clarity Group LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect on careerclaritygroup.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run the experiences you use, we never sell your information, and most of your assessment work stays on your own device.
What we collect
- Email address and name: only when you choose to give them to us (joining the list, requesting a resource, asking for follow-up). We use them to send what you asked for and occasional emails from Career Clarity Group. You can unsubscribe any time.
- Assessment answers: your responses in experiences like the Perfect Day, Ikigai, and Fear Audit are stored in your own browser (localStorage) so your progress and results survive a page refresh. For paid experiences that generate a permanent personal page (such as the Daily Practice), your results are stored on our servers under an unguessable private link so you never lose access to what you bought.
- An uploaded photo (optional): if you choose to upload a photo for a personalised portrait, it is sent securely to our image-generation provider solely to create your portrait. We do not keep a copy or share it with anyone else.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of what was purchased so we can verify your access.
- Usage analytics: anonymous funnel events (page visited, assessment started, assessment completed) tied to a random identifier, so we can see where the experience loses people. We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure advertising. It is told which page you were on and whether a signup or purchase happened, which is what lets us tell if an ad is working. It is not told your answers, your conversations with Clara, or the private links to your results. Those links are removed from the web address before the pixel runs, so they are never sent.
- Conversations with Clara, our AI guide: what you type or say to her is sent to Anthropic to generate her replies. Raw conversations are kept for 30 days, then reduced to short internal notes. If you purchase continued access to a conversation, the raw exchange is instead kept for the 90 days of access you bought, then reduced the same way. The Wayfind team may review conversations to improve her, and never shares them outside Wayfind. If you turn her voice on: her replies are sent to ElevenLabs to be spoken aloud, and your own spoken words are processed by your browser's built-in speech recognition (Google's in Chrome, Apple's in Safari) to turn them into text. This is your browser talking to that provider directly, not something we route or control. Voice is always optional, and you can type to her instead at any time.
How we use it
- To deliver the experiences and content you request or purchase.
- To generate your personalised results (your answers are processed by our AI provider to write your synthesis, practice, or profile).
- To send transactional emails (receipts, access links, scheduling) and, with your consent, occasional list emails.
- To measure and improve the site and our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers below, who process it on our behalf.
Service providers we rely on
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: sending email and managing the mailing list.
- Supabase: storing leads and anonymous funnel events.
- Neon: the database that stores your purchased results (such as the Daily Practice) so your private link keeps working.
- Anthropic: AI generation of your personalised results from your answers.
- fal.ai: rendering the optional portrait from your uploaded photo.
- Cal.com: scheduling coaching sessions.
- Meta: advertising measurement (pixel). It receives the page you visited and whether a signup or purchase happened, never your answers, your conversations, or your private links.
- ElevenLabs: converts Clara's replies to speech, when voice is turned on.
- Your browser's speech recognition (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari) converts your spoken words to text, when voice is turned on. This runs in your browser, not on our servers.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser localStorage to keep your assessment progress, results, and purchase verification on your device. The Meta pixel may set cookies for ad measurement. You can clear both at any time through your browser settings. Clearing them may remove saved progress and require re-verifying a purchase.
How long we keep it
Lead and mailing-list information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchased results are kept so your private link keeps working. Anonymous analytics are kept for as long as they are useful for improving the site.
Conversations with Clara: the raw exchange is kept for 30 days, then permanently reduced to short internal notes. A conversation you purchased continued access to is kept for the 90 days of access instead, then reduced the same way. The full conversation cannot be recovered after that point.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails via the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing cdanton@careerclaritygroup.com. We will respond to every request.
- Skip the optional photo upload entirely. Every experience works without it.
- Turn Clara's voice off at any time using the control in her panel. Typing works exactly the same either way.
Children
Our services are intended for adults considering their career and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to how we handle your information will be flagged clearly on the site.
